Mr. John Jones, Director of Business Development, leads client engagement across the Americas, Middle East, and globally for private banks, and RIA platforms.  With over 15 years of experience, he has directed business development efforts across public and private credit, systematic global macro, real return, and early stage investment strategies.

John was previously a member of Pacific Investment Management Company’s Financial Institutions Group (FIG). PIMCO’s FIG Business provided asset management and advisory services for insurance company general account investments.   While there, his team was credited with launching several advisory products in partnership with insurance clients and RIAs.

Prior to joining ShoreVest Partners, in 2021, John was also an advisor to two emerging systematic alternative managers focusing on corporate strategy and fundraising.  He was also an early-stage investment associate at Innovation Fund in Chicago.

John earned a BA in economics from the University of Southern California and an MBA from The University of Chicago.  While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he spent two years as a volunteer on a Mandarin speaking service mission for his church.
